OK, I'm dense. my problem is that 1.4-r3 was
'KEYWORDS=sparc', but not the only
thing marked
KEYWORDS=sparc is 'mozilla-1.3-r2'
There is nothing in the ChangeLog explaining why for sparc I
should either downgrade (1.4 --> 1.3) or go to '~sparc'

If you are saying that 1.4.1 is stable for sparc, than I for one
would ask that you mark it so. If it is not, then I would ask you to
leave 1.4-r3 present (except for my gripe about displaying garbage,
1.4-r3 works perfectly fine, but I have no reason to believe 1.4.1
would, since it's marked stable only for x86.)

This is NOT what I want:
==============
antaresia mozilla # emerge -p mozilla

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild     UD] net-www/mozilla-1.3-r2 [1.4-r3]
===============

But this is default behavior, and there is no ChangeLog indication
of why it should be.

What am I missing here?
