This has come up a few times in the past. I am unable to respond in detail to this mail since i'm in a rush, but basically.. in the past we dropped it due to lack of developers to maintain the sources.
I would be happy for you to add yourself to the kernel herd, and get up to speed with our policies etc and then maintain the vserver-sources yourself, if thats how you would like to proceed. Just shout me and I'll go through it more later if you like :) (about 20:00utc) On Fri, 2005-01-07 at 00:04 -0600, Octavio Ruiz (Ta^3) wrote: > Benedikt BÃhm, who happens to be smarter than you, thinks: > > Hi all, > > > > now that I am an official gentoo dev, I'd like to concentrate more on > > vserver > > running on gentoo. > > I already wrote a guide and some ebuilds which can (now) be found at > > http://dev.gentoo.org/~hollow/vserver/guide/ > > I also heard that there are already (non-)devs dealing with vserver on > > gentoo > > (eg infowolfe) in the #vserver channel on OFTC > > > So I'd like to ask if there is/was any work done in the past > > http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/sys-kernel/vserver-sources/ > > >and who is interesstend in contributing > > What about vserver+grsecurity?
