*yawn* Is there a point to this drivel or are you now shooting for the "If you don't agree, then you're a terrorist" mentality? While it is true that much of Gentoo is a single pool, so to speak, there are many areas that are not. When was the last time you fixed some bugs for the Games team? When was the last time I fixed some bugs for you? Many parts of Gentoo are still very isolated and rightly so, as they don't affect other parts of the distribution. > w/o your territorialism is not going to help gentoo one bit, im not Territorialism, eh? Please, continue with your witty banter and insults. Simply because I find your proposal to be a complete waste of *my* time when working on *my* packages and you have no valid response to that you see the need to start throwing out labels to people. Whatever, communist. ;] > forcing anything, im talking about it, i have not pushed for a managers > meeting or anything, why do you insist im forcing things? But you have stated already many times that you think this should be policy and required. That implies forcing this upon all developers at all levels. > > This is my whole point. You have done nothing to counter these other than start labeling me or making excuses or exceptions. I'd say that's pretty apparent that you're grasping at straws. > if it comes down to it they are both just opinions, and it wouldnt be > either of our decision in the end, should a refined proposal make it > further it is not you or i who says yes or no Actually, I would very much have a say in it, as would any other developer that has enough sense to speak with their Top-Level Managers on issues such as this that they feel strongly about. -- Chris Gianelloni Release Engineering - Operations/QA Manager Games - Developer Gentoo Linux
