I believe that GWN needs to remain an official newsletter of the Gentoo project. Its role should be to inform our community of what is going on in Gentoo. Pretty much what it's been doing under successive editors to date. There's no need to go as far as evangelizing - we're a community distro after all, *not* a commercial company with investors to satisfy and cash flow to maintain. The quality of our code and the Portage tree should be what counts, not how well we can spin something.
