I've been doing this sort of thing for nearly 43 years, and I can recall only a few times in that length of time that I had to deal with a font where it wasn't *blatantly* obvious which was which. And I'm talking 5-hole paper tape and Hollerith cards here. :)
So, do I get some kind of prize for being the oldest Gentoo user?

I think you just proved his point. Correct me if I'm wrong, but to me it looks like he wrote -02 (zero, no capital O). Capital O and zero look so much alike on many systems, that users get them confused, and the vim-syntax will tell you that you screwed up and put a zero instead of a capital O.
