Is there a policy exception for stabilizing platform-independent packages like dev-php/PEAR-*?
dev-php/PEAR-Cache-1.5.4 has, for instance, been in the tree since
July 2004 and is currently masked ~x86 ~ppc ~sparc ~alpha. Since this
package, like the other dev-php/PEAR-* packages, contains only PHP code
that is supposed to be platform-independent it would make sense to me
to mask the dev-php/PEAR-* the same as dev-php/php-4.3.10 ("x86 ppc
sparc alpha hppa amd64 ~ia64 ~s390 ppc64 ~mips").
Thanks,
Sebastian
