I'm not a developer; strictly cut and paste stuff.

Is gcc required to emerge -k?  If the goal is to have a server without a 
compiler that could be used on malicious code wouldn't it be easier to just 
unmerge gcc?  The replies I'm seeing all seem to involve a lot of work.
