I use xmlstarlet from time to time, mostly when I've removed overlays from [1]. If the package is dead, maybe it's time to clean it out, but if others are using it and depending on it, I'd be willing to maintain it and try making it it work with libxml2. Is there a good alternative that one could use instead?
