Maybe to see if my code works with older compilers? If you suspect that nobody is using gcc-2.95, then ping the toolchain guys. My point was that I don't see any reason to remove old stuff if someone is maintaining the ebuild. If you think something should be removed, ping the maintainer; we don't need to invent some policy or whine about it on the mailing list.
