I'm starting to think we're all doing this wrong by going for a naive "single choice then backtrack" model, fully consistent or otherwise. Perhaps we're going to have to bite the bullet and go for stronger propagation models and one of the many better alternatives to backtracking... -- Ciaran McCreesh
