I don't know much about python, but I found it very useful for doing scientific simulations. I've looked at scientificpython and scipy, and from what i see, scipy seems to have much more modules and something like and integrated enviroment similar to Mathematica. I think it will be worth to put this good package in portage.
Is there something I can do to help in this effort?
