Hello,

I decided for several reasons to download a tarball of phoenix nightly
latest trunk release and extract it in /usr/local/ rather than emerging
phoenix-bin. Now, on my desktop it works fine but has the following
problem on my laptop. I must say that I've done two fresh installations
from scratch (not due to phoenix) and the problem remains.

When I load phoenix, change the search engine type to 'Google' in the search
box on top right of browser and type in the search word 'pine' and press
enter, the entire session running xdm and enlightenment crashes and
presents returns me to an xdm login screen. There is no output in the
shell window used to load phoenix and no output in xsession-errors either.

(1) Has anyone else had this problem?
(2) What can I try to fix this problem?

By the way, if the nightly phoenix works for you I recommend it. It works
flawlessly on my desktop with all plugins etc and has had a whole host of
improvements made to it to include more options, clear fonts and better ui
to include nicer default theme.

Many thanks.
Dhruba Bandopadhyay.
