gpcpan.pl takes the argument of the perl module, ie: 

g-cpan.pl Foo::Bar

If an ebuild doesn't already exist in portage, it creates one and
installs it as (in this case) Foo-Bar.  You can then remove it with 

emerge unmerge Foo-Bar
