Well at first it seems like a solution, but I don't think it is.
I don't know of a way to remount a ext3 filesystem as ext2
"online". ext2online/ext2resize flatly refuse to do anything with a
mounted ext3 filesystem. Anyone have a solution?
BTW,
mount -o rebind -t ext2 ....
does not work.
