  Reiserfs has 'resize_reiserfs', which works well.  by the way,
  shrinking Reiserfs is not something you'd really want to do -- as it
  rebuilds the internal tree, which takes _time_.

  I thought of shrinking a 450GiB volume by 50GiB or so.  estimated
  time was around 26 hours or so.  :-)
