There is a utility in the patchutils package (I forget which one)
that will take two diff files to the same set of sources, and
create a single diff to apply patches from both diff files.
Since the patches applied to stock 2.4.19 or 2.4.20 are available
in /usr/portage/sys-kernel/gentoo-sources/files/, you could use
it to create a combined patch file to apply against the original
kernel sources.
Are you familiar with the procedure for adding patches and
compiling manually during an emerge?
