I'm not sure about gentoo-sources, I'm running xfs-sources, but the procedure should be similar anyway. Merge gentoo-sources, make a symlink in /usr/src from "linux-[version]-gentoo-[rev]" to the "linux", then merge win4lin-sources. As the source of "addpatches" script says, "The source directory defaults to /usr/src/linux", so your Win4Lin patches will go there. Well... I did it just once, with xfs-sources, and don't remember exactly - you'll probably have to merge gentoo-sources once again - just look at your kernel configuration menu after that, the "Windows Application Support" item should appear in the root menu. Here it did :) And be sure to have the same kernel version number for both "*-sources". This description is probably not very scientific, but hey... it worked here :) Just my $0.02 -- May the bluebird of happiness twiddle your bits. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
