So absolutely NO ONE has tried to drag an application icon from the KDE 3.1 desktop to the kicker toolbar and insert a new app? I really find this hard to believe. Why am I being ignored anyway? No one does this type of thing?
Sorry, but I have never done that, and I have been using kde for years. Maybe I misunderstand the question, though; if I want to add an item to the kick bar, I just right click on it.
