Got a little issue. I have a scsi cdwriter. I can burn iso images and what not, no problems there.
If I run a cdrecord -scanbus, here is the output:

which is normal. THis is the same output as when I had redhat, slackware, or debian installed. But I wasn't using devfs with those.
Anyways, what I want to do is mount a cdrom in that drive... The problem is there is no corresponding device in /dev/for it. no /dev/scd* nothing in /dev/cdroms/*
Can anyone explain how I can do this??
