As you see, it happens here too. I do use one of those GL screensavers
from KDE. Though this did happen with 3.1 on this box and 3.0.5 on the
other, it seems to be worse now. The box did lock solid last week with
an uptime of just over 9 days.
Restarting X seems to free up some swap, but very little RAM
