Hi,

When I boot up my system, I get "EBDA is big, kernel setup stack
overlaps lilo second stage"

Let me explain what i did to achieve this wonderful message:

I was running Windows, Debian and Gentoo on my system, when I decided
to remove Debian to free up some space. My partions look like this:

/dev/hda1 windows
/dev/hda5 debian
/dev/hda6 home
/dev/hdb1 boot
/dev/hdb2 swap
/dev/hdb3 root

/dev/hda5 was holding the /boot directory, so when I removed debian
(just deleted /dev/hda5), I recompiled the kernel, copied bzImage to
/dev/hdb1 (boot), and ran lilo. I have a line in my fstab which points
to the correct /boot partition (/dev/hdb1). Running lilo didn't
produce any errors, so I thought everything went ok.

Well, it didn't... does anybody have a clue what is going wrong here ?
I can't access my root partition, so couldn't a attach my lilo.conf.

Thanks,
Dick
