As a matter of fact, yes. At boot, and regarding only usb devices. It
appeared ever since I plugged in my Alcatel Speedtouch ADSL modem. I
get messages such as :

can't locate module /dev/usb/ttyUSB1 (and like this until ttyUSB15)
can't locate module /dev/usb/lp0 (which is weird because I don't have
the usb printer support compiled in my kernel)
can't locate module /dev/3 (message that really intrigues me)

And inside my /dev I get weird nodes. For instance :
ptycb (which is a symlink, so I guess it's OK), and, rught underneath
it:
ptycb- (I d'ont know what that is). It does this for every pty*.
