Seems that I have the attention of some folks that know VNC. I have it
up and running between my 2 Gentoo boxes. the host box runs window
maker and the client KDE. (host has KDE installed).
Connecting to the host machine when window maker is running there
displays on the client a black background about 1/4 of the screen size
with an xterm fine but I can't get it to see my dock apps icons
background etc. I can start a KDE session that displays the desktop
normally but I can't resize windows withing that and applications that
open larger than the VNV window are useless. I've looked for config
files where I could change the window size and All I came up with is
the fullscreen option. Full screen has the habit of taking over the
client machine's xsession to the point where I need to kill vncviewer
from a console.
I guess the questio is: How can I specify the window size and how can I
get window maker running in the client?
