Thanks for all your help so far... I have VNC working fine in one direction. For the sake of argument, box A can view an Xsession on box B. Box B cannot view A. When I do "vncserver" on box A, I get: vncserver: couldn't find "Xvnc" on your PATH. Sure enough, there is no /usr/bin/Xvnc on box A (there is on box B) Both boxes are running the latest version of tightvnc.
