I run: # qpkg -I -q libglade
It outputs nothing. So it means, that none of installed packages depends on libglade. Then why it wants it?
You said it yourself. None of the *installed* packages depends on it. It is the newer not-yet-installed versions of certain packages that have these dependencies. I don't think qpkg is going to help you out much in this case.
