Well, once you perform a full 'emerge -uD world' and then do it regularly (I do it about twice a week), then the whole process takes ten minutes or so -- it replaces only the newly available packages. Same applies to 'emerge -uD system' -- usually it quits right away without actually doing something. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
