No, samba allows a Linux machine to see windows. Check man smbmount.

No I haven't....I understand that I have to but from little I have read
about, Samba seems only to allow a Win machine to see files on a linux
box. So how do you do it both was? And if you know where I can find a
guide to set everything up, let me know.
