I think you nailed it here Michael. Most of these people are Linux
professionals. They appear to be very sure of themselves and they are
probably the people who, like me on my their first attempt thought they
knew more than the good folks that wrote the install docs. They, unlike
me decided that Gentoo wasn't worth their valuable time and regardless
of the facts refuse to allow their minds to be changed.
Damn! they are acting like Microserfs.
