Brian, Thanks. That gets me closer. It was set for OSS. I've switched to trying Alsa. Still no sound though, and unfortunately the xmms site documentation page doesn't have any info on configuring for Alsa. Should all of the other settings there be OK, or have you had to enter other values, like the Mixer type as PCM, etc. This is a new driver I'm testing, so it could be a real problem.
