I'd like to vote that a distcc howto get some space in the official install documentation... Lots of people are using it, and there is a lot of confusion (and wrong information) on how to use it. Just do a search on google for "distcc gentoo" and you'll find lots of ways that don't work. Plus most of the documentation covers how to use distcc AFTER the install, when many people want to use it from stage 1 (does this hurt the optimization of glibc, etc?). I think that there should be at least a brief blurb in the install docs.
