Followed the doc on the gentoo site for setting up X, but all I get is the following:
(II) MGA: driver for Matrox chipsets: mga2064w, mga1064sg, mga2164w, mga2164w AGP, mgag100, mgag100 PCI, mgag200, mgag200 PCI, mgag400, mgag550 (II) Primary Device is: PCI 01:00:0 (EE) No devices detected. Fatal server error: no screens found Screen blanks out then comes back with the following error. I know the setting for the monitor and video card and plugged those in when asked during the X config. So I am ata loss as to where my problem is. I have looked thru the log file and up to the point of failure I have not seen any error msg's. Any thoughts on where my problem lies?
