I have followed the instructions here, but I haven't had any luck. I do
have the frame buffer images working, but it won't work in silent mode.
Silent mode does not work at the moment. It isn't supported by the Gentoo init scripts yet but they are working on incorporating it. Look at [1] and add yourself as CC.
