Survived numerous power failures and lockups. I've seen a lot of bug reports in the kernel changes for all the journaling file systems. I've heard horror stories about reiserfx, xfs, etc., but I've mostly heard that all of these work aok. I've heard little (good or bad) about JFS. Performance of any of these is going to be slighly below ext2, but who cares since they all provide good solid journaling support, and that's the name of the game. -- Collins Richey - Denver Area if you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday and the worries of tomorrow, you have no today to be thankful for. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
