1. pcmcia is loaded and unloaded
2. I can unplug & replug and get notification with beeps.
3. All /etc files seem to be correct
4. kernel selinux 2.4.20 r4 original build from install 3 months ago
5. Dell Latitude CPx 650 laptop, system was fully functional up till a week or so.
