Jean, Remember that you HAVE to use a crossover cable, as someone mentioned previuosly. If you make a direct connection from network card to network card without a hub, a normal network cable won't do the trick. I have tried to do that with a cable (rj45 as it's called in France) connecting them, but then I could figure out what to do.
