I know it was basicly the same. What it tells me is that windows boot sector was corruted.The only way I know of to fix it is to reinstall windows. to do that without damaging linux unplug the second hd, then install. to get lilo to boot again after intalling windows use you cd to get back into gentoo and go through lilo setup. Unless someone else knows of an easier way.
