Great idea! I had forgotten all about the logs. It all boiled down to (not) managing 24bit colours. Although the card supports 24 bit colours and startx couldn't care less, kde seemed to have trouble with it. I'm a happy puppy. Cheers! Chris -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
