Now I would like to tell the kernel about my SCSI whishes: normally
I would just add a
   append = "hdc=ide-scsi"
to my /etc/lilo.conf - but Gentoo is using Grub, so where/how could I
add these parameters now?
 

Just add hdc=ide-scsi after the kernel hd(0,0)/.../kernel... root=/hd... 
hdc=ide-scsi
in the /boot/grub/grub.conf file.
