We now have a team of developers and we are working VERY hard on getting a great installer for gentoo. However, this will take time. Really, GLIS at this stage is just a difficult to use script. However, it is the backend (read building block) of some great easy to use installers. I hear your frustration and all I can say is be patient. Better things are coming, but we can only work so fast.
