I'm trying to get lircd to run on 2.6. I patched the kernel using 
patch-lirc-2.6.0-test9-oh.diff. When I try to start it up below (suggested 
in the ebuild at:

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=78034&highlight=lirc

I get the following error. I created a /dev/lirc directory as instructed.

Any ideas?
