I've done a number of tests with this card. I have not gotten it to give me a picture on a regular monitor or an Apple monitor (has ports for both). In Linux, it shows up when I do scanpci, but it does not show up in the BIOS's PCI device list. The computer will boot with just this card in, but it will not boot without a video card. This makes absolutely not sense to me. As for flashing the card BIOS, how would I go about that?

You could try flashing the bios of the card to the corresponding pc
version. Other than that the cards SHOULD be the same, obviously though,
flashing the bios of a graphics card can be dangerous, and I can't
guarantee it'll work.

I pulled the following card from my PowerMac:

pci bus 0x0000 cardnum 0x0a function 0x00: vendor 0x1002 device 0x4754

  BIST 0x00 HEADER 0x00 LATENCY 0x20 CACHE 0x08
  APBASE 0xda000000 addr 0xda000000
  BLOCKIO 0x0000bc01 addr 0x0000bc00

  MAX_LAT 0x00 MIN_GNT 0x08 INT_PIN 0x01 INT_LINE 0x0b

Since I don't have the space to setup my Mac anymore, I'm stealing the video card from it to use in my x86 box for a dual-head setup. The problem is that whenever X tries to configure it, I get the error:

(EE) ATI(0): Cannot read V_BIOS

Does this mean that the card does not work or that it is just not compatible with anything other than a Mac?
