I have a Pentium 233 that runs Gentoo. I used the above method to build it. (I used a chroot environment on the faster box, went through the install, and then used tar to write the install to CD, which then went on the slower box) After that, I've let the machine compile the majority of the updates that have come out. For the recent glibc update though, I again used my faster box to create tha package and then transfered it over for installation. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
