I was getting a error while trying to build openoffice:
open_wr: /opt/OpenOffice.org1.0.3/foo.tmp
unlink: /opt/OpenOffice.org1.0.3/delme
One of the bugzilla reports said to rm .sversionrc, which did the trick.
I had changed my CFLAGS to:
CFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -Os -pipe -mfpmath=sse -msse -mmmx -m3dnow
-fomit-frame-pointer"
It now opens very fast, less then 3 secs, before it was loading in
around 9 secs. I am very impressed.
