It's not necessary on the 2.6 kernels (even 2.4 at some point). Just use 'cdrecord --scanbus dev=ATAPI:' - then use 'dev=ATAPI:x,y.z' depending on what you got back from scanbus. -- Collins -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
