What's wrong with doing CD burning with ATAPI ide in 2.4.x? I found that
worked with no problems but that very little software (only cdrecord)
supported it. k3b and others have recently added support for atapi ide
burning, but is there any reason why it wouldn't work with 2.4.x as well?
