I have a couple of problems with Installing the Gentoo Installation Files: In the instructions page 3 of 6. # 1. tar -xjpf /mnt/cdrom/stages/stage3-20031011.tar.bz2
On the disk " /stage3-2030910.tar.bz2 This is likely just a version error. # 2. While downloading the files from CD1 the following error occured: snip ./usr/lib/local/archive tar:./usr/lib/local/archive: wrote only 9216 of 10240 bytes tar: skipping to next header ./usr/libdb_cxx-4.0.so tar:./usr/libdb_cxx-4.0.so wrote 0 of 10240 tar: skipping to next header tar: Error exit from previous errors Is this likely a problem for the head shead, or could I have done some thing wrong?
