I have a resonable fast machine (Athlon XP 2400+) and a well supported sound card (Sound Blaster Live!). Software-wise: KDE 3.1.5, 2.6.1-mm5 kernel, arts is running with realtime priority (artswrapper setuid root) and play my mp3s ogg though juk.
When I play mp3s or oggs though mpg123 or ogg123 the jerkyness goes away so I think this is a problem with arts. Anyone experiencing similar problems? Thanks, -- Alkis -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
