You are correct. You will not need to reinstall grub. You *will* need to
rerun grub, in order to rewrite the MBR or superblock or however grub
does it. That is probably what you meant, but forgetting that step has
left me very confused and frustrated. Therefore, it's on my Big List o'
Stupid Mistakes to Avoid(tm).
