Actually you don't need to do that either. The grub MBR thingie doesn't care 
which hard drive it's on. When you boot it, it simply starts looking for a 
stage1 image (which is installed into the /boot partition when you 
run/install grub) and once it's found, fires up the boot menu according to 
grub.conf.
