I recently got hold of a NEC DVD-RW 1300A , which handles DVD +/- and
-RW.  Appears the price was decent (700-something SEK, approx 80 US or
so). And so far its worked nicely, even though I haven't tried -RW
rewrite. 


tools are in a state of flux currently, but appears to be lightening up
for within the year. Hopefully the support will come out better than it
currently is.
